Another fantastic story by you! John got what was coming to him. Cutting the budget for the art museum was a huge mistake! It needed to be corrected hahaha.
I'm just glad Victoria got her happy ending, but I do urge her to burn the second draft. That's evidence waiting to be found by the wrong person. 🤣 Please excuse my morbid sense of humor.
This hits me hard. I worked on the Aftyn Behn campaign in Tennessee's 7th District. I'm a moderate Independent and I base my vote on character and competence, not party. It was an easy choice. She turned a +22 Trump district into single digits, but lost. Van Epps posted highly deceptive videos with two second clips of her that appeared to make her look irrational. She is a highly intelligent person with a BS in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Services working with people with disabilities. She continues her work in the State Legislature
I a 100% disabled veteran of Desert Storm and the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia (Blackhawk Down). After I got out I went through periods of living under a bridge and hospitals. Now at 67 years old I work with the homeless and play guitar and sing at the soup kitchen.
I have a BS in Psychology and sponsor through Patreon three of the best female vocalist singer songwriters on the planet.
I stay busy and I live for today. Yesterday is the past and tomorrow may never come. Live in the moment.
Thanks for reading. I’m sorry if this brought up some unpleasant stuff. I love that you’re doing such positive things now. That’s awesome. I know a lot of people like to say or think they do, but it sounds like you’re actually out there making a difference!
I do what I can to stay out of politics, in large part due to my regular daytime job where it’s pretty important that I remain publicly neutral.
The inspiration for the character in the story came from thoughts on a number of people on both sides of the aisle.
So 27 times. Who counts that high?
Besides the coroner, not sure, but it felt like the right number.
I feel bad for gardener. I do love the voice of this narrator though...
Well someone had to take the fall… and you can always find a new gardener.
And thank you. I had some fun writing her.
Love the twist!!
Thanks! And thanks for readind and sharing. You rock!
Damn! Of course you had me at Chip Skipson 😂. This is giving me No Body No Crime (Taylor) vibes!
The crazy thing is he was thiiiiiis close to being Skip Chipson! And Victoria was always the smart one. Of course she got away with it.
Taking matters into her own hands!
That she did.

RIGHT?!? I mean for one it’s the arts, but it’s where they got married.
For shame John, for shame!

She’s too smart to leave evidence like that lying around.
I”m so glad you liked it!

Hey, even Lauren Bobert reached across the aisle... to give her bf a hand job.
